I'm a metalhead but I love early Heart. I was forced to go to a big nfl event with a family member some years back(i hate sports) and there was this giant luxury sky box we walked past with it's doors open and there was Heart playing to a bunch of rich cocksuckers in suits. They actually booked a gig to play their own music to a bunch of suits who probably have no fucking clue who they were. I was like WTF? Everyone was sitting at tables mostly talking and laughing, the 15-20 second look I got I only noticed a very few in the room even looking up at the band. It was strange.
I about shit when I heard Judas Priest in a Burger King commercial, I think the Stones and others have sold out to corporations as well. But mostly it's the actual record company who sells out. But in Heart's and Eddie Money's case it was themselves.

Fucking metal legend, a guy who was days away from suicide in a LA hotel after Sabbath booted him out of the band in 1980, a few hundred bucks in his pocket and stinking of piss, and just a year later he began his solo career that still goes strong to this day, on a fucking MTV show that made him look like a fucking retard. Money does bad things to people. You can blame the company for dangling the carrot, but it's the rabbit's choice to bite it.
