Got a pack of feminized Blueberry from seedsman. These 2 seedlings are exactly two weeks old from popping through the rapid rooter. These bunches appeared from yesterday to today. Can only assume it's a male plant but didn't realize they would show sex this early. And the fact it was a feminized seed is there too. Lol.

What do folks think? Just want to make sure I am not misdiagnosing.

Thanks!!

Definately a male, I just finished a seedsman autoflower blueberry. It didnt get chopped until around week 12, making it flower way longer than the breeders estimate. It actually could have gone longer but chopped it along with the rest of harvest.

Has it been under alot of stress and turned hermie?
femaleseeds.nl have never let me down. Their c99 is pretty much odorless
royalqueenseeds advertised that that their quickone was very low odor, but it stank easy into the neighbords so i wont recommend but strong plants

Guess your gonna have to top or bend the other one to fill out the space. Just a suggestion
I would demand some sort of compensation and if not theres always trustpilot if it makes you feel better

Light is just a 110W LED (1000 Watt LED) Link below.

Grow Light

I am doing 18 hours on, 6 hours off. I have attached a picture of my new seedling starter box. I built it out of an old TV Hutch. In about a week I will take and move these to their new home which is an undercurrent system. (in there I have a 600W HPS/MH and a MARS Hydro SP3000. My original plan was to take the best 2 of each strain and move them to final home. but now I have 4 of one strain doing well and only 1 of the blueberry. I started with 3, 1 didnt germinate, now the other is male. To be fair to Seedsman. I only actually bought the White Widow / Big Bud Feminized seeds from them. The 3 blueberry feminized seeds (said feminized on packaging) were free seeds with my order. the issue is more that I now have to put two plants of different strains in the same system, which I wanted to avoid by building two systems, and cater to the blueberry.

At least I have two extra WW/BB plants to take its place. I too was just shocked to see it show sex at such an early age. shouldnt be stress. Temps are right around 70, 40% RH, Water in resevoir is nice and clean, 5.8PH, and 300PPM. Lots of water movement and Air in rez as well.

Thanks everyone for the feedback.

Never saw a plant show sex at 2 weeks from sprout. :o
Exactly! Now this is only my second time growing so I have no experience but everything I have read says this is way early to show sex. The other Blueberry that is left looks way more advanced than it should as well. already can see growth at the base of each fan leaf. The 4 WW/BB are no where near this point and they sprouted same day.

Seedsman's been around for a while and has already established their reputation. I understand seeds are expensive and the expectation for a Feminized seed was to result in female. But, I don't think that's a common occurrence with their genetics.

Right. I had read lots of good stuff about them which is why I went with them in the first place. And I also want to reiterate that the fem seeds I actually purchased from seedsman all germinated and all are female (well.... so far) it was the 3 free fem seeds that I have had issues with. I guess maybe they were free for a reason! Lol. 1 didn't germ, 1 was male, and we will see on the third.

I didn't mean any disrespect to seedsman at all. The post was really more about this happening so early in the plants life and wanting to make sure I was diagnosing properly. Thanks!!

oh oh take cover
You have to look for the little white pistils, thats more balls
Stretchy one tho i feel like pinching.
seedman should really send you another batch for wasting your time, weed, work, electricity etc
Gonna have to lowstresstrain the other plants to make use for the space
Im a broken record.

I really dont understand they seem to just entered stage 2 of vegitative phase not flowering now
Have you sent pictures to seedman saying wtf is this

No. I did not contact them because they were the free seeds they sent so I thought I'd just let it go. But your right. I lost time and really my ability to do 2 separate strains which sucks. The good news is I only have 4 spaces in final home and all 4 of my other fem seeds look great. I will just have two separate under current systems running the same strain. Not what my intent was but better than having an empty system all together or one way behind the other.

It was weird. Neither of these plants even tried to produce leaves/branches at the base of their fan leaves. They just went straight to producing balls. Even the bag seeds I tried growing my first go round grew leaves and branches before showing sex.
