all i can say is damn. this girl sucks up some seriouse water/nutes. a gal a day. one thing that concerns me is the leafs are showing me something. i added mag, and dropped ppm some. been playing with ppm to see where i need to be. she is still growin really fast though. gatta go get more ph down, im almost out due to having to top her off every morning. just thought i would share. cya:mrgreen:

Nice. I just harvested some plants that I grew in a bubbler, and they also drank tons of water. I was wondering how the hell they did it until I saw the stems were totally hollow, literally like straws! In fact I did use one as a straw :mrgreen:

yeah its nuts, but what the heck is wrong with it?
 
magnesium deficiency. use cal/mag 5-8ml per gallon in addition to your base nutes.
 
i added epsom salt last night, i read that in order for mj to uptake mag/cal ph needs to be around 6.5-7.0. i have been keeping such an eye on my ph, it was steady at 5.4-5.9. never gave the plant a chance to uptake anything in the higher range. does this sound right? right now its at 6.5, ganna let it drift to 7.0 and then bring back down to 6.0
 
5.8 is ideal in hydro. botanicare cal/mag + iron pretty much eliminates the worries, and provides good results at 5.8.
 
just checked ph again it was at 6.3. im ganna let it sit there for the rest of the day, and check the ph tonight to make sure she dosnt go up too much. I WOULD LIKE TO FLOWER THIS PLANT SOON......IS THERE ANY TRICKS OF THE TRADE INVOLVING NUTES OR LIGHTS SCHEDULES I SHOULD DO BEFORE I MAKE THE SWITCH? like should someone who wants to flower in a week or 2 start adding some flowering nute? ideas like that.

what nutes are you using? if using a 3 part, go 2-2-2 for a week or two into flower (will give you a nice bushing effect, several colas without topping). flower any time ;)

dude i dont think its possible to get more of a bush than it is. i cant see any light through the foliage. i am using flora nova and tiger bloom just for veg. yeah i know i can flower at anytime, but i guess im waiting for myself to build a veg cab for my other plants before i take a couple clones off this plant and flower it. its all bagseed so im not sure if its worth keeping the origional mother. ganna buy some fem seeds for next grow unless i really like these. so when i get my veg cab built, ill flower. thanks
