It seems many are stuck in the belief that conventional science is our friend. As a 5+ year home grower/experimenter I have attempted variations of some of these technologies, especially as they relate to hydroponics and energizing the water used to mix/feed my plants. I can't begin to tell you how many experienced growers who poo poo my efforts

It's a long watch, best to take it in small bites

Did you somehow miss this? As a 5+ year home grower/experimenter

I have the luxury of growing for my own use. One thing I can guarantee, every grow has been excellent even though yield was low, and/or plants looked shitty...

Now, feel free to contribute something to the subject, but this one was in very poor humor.

Kudos though for taking the time to c/p multiple hater comments. Should they chime in, others here will know their bias

I've always though of you as a great member who deserves respect, this topic just doesnt interest me so I dont have anything to say.. I had skipped over this topic earlier due to that, but wanted to drop a encouraging word.

I don’t get it. If you are admitting your yield was low and your plants looked shitty there was nothing excellent about the Grows.

DO dissipates in warm water much faster than cool water. What we want is to increase the DO in the rez water to prevent root/stem rot issues, which is why we use air pumps/stones. BUT, they draw in unfiltered ambient air, which in addition to being warm, could contain germs, viruses, pathogens... , and it injects CO2 from the ambient air 24/7, which affects pH.
Waterfalls are a significant improvement, but the pump (which is in the rez) needs to be on a timer to prevent overheating. Mine are on a timer running 3 minutes/60. However, this frequency is a guess. To determine how much DO is in the water one needs a DO meter which is $500+. Im a small personal se grower, so no bueno

How much DO do air stones.waterfalls add? According to O2Grow (they make a nanobubble DO emitter) who demos with a DO meter, the max with air stones is ~ 8% DO. "I" assume waterfalls are similar

And while I have vg roots, I can't help but think that a 50% increase to 12% using a O2Grow DO nanobubble emitter (according to O2Grow) will pay dividends, WHILE, eliminating the need for a chiller.

Why? Again, according to O2Grow (and other studies I have read plus videos I have watched promoting nanoDO) nanobubbles are the key. Presumably, when left undisturbed in the rez water, DO stays in suspension for > 12 hours, which is more than enough for simple F & D systems, and may well supercharge them

I have yet to find a grower using it, but tests restoring polluted and stagnant lakes, tributaries, etc. to good health have intrigued me to get one to see If this works as advertised

The O2Grow 2020 (good for 20 gallon rez) is $300, which is less than a 20 g chiller.

I will be reporting on it in my next grow thread Thinking Outside the Box, but won't start up for a a couple months, though I will use nanowater to start seedlings

I brought up to be proactive, knowing the jackals would show up, and post their adolescent comments

Many perceive that one can only get a quality product from centerfold plants, their ignorance causes them to post negative comments. And as I have said, I have more than enough yield to carry me from grow to grow

Here's 2 pics from my latest harvest. 4 plants all look like these

When I ran hydro I used micro pore airstones that produced those nano bubbles. Massive differance vs traditional cheap airstones. Not sure about this product you mention.

you're not thinking outside the box though because you limit yourself to a box..who says one exists? i wasn't being snarky just debating.

when you use a picture of the idiot mueller laughing, you ARE being snarky
i wasn't talking about my signature. i was commenting on my post. moral of the story: don't limit yourself with someone else's 'box' think..who says there is even a box? I thought you'd pick up on that..did you know that I follow you?

now as for my signature..

why does the picture of mueller disturb you?

Yes, I did get your box comment, but without getting into why Mueller is just another POS cog in the ahem govt box, why would you use a 6" x 6" picture of anything (even a gorgeous bud) for your signature?

did you measure it?

it's a troll piece and how i have fun..looks as if it was resized by SOMEONE..did you throw me under the bus and complain? did it ruin your day?

have you seen Bucky's?.can't he get that any larger?..maybe the mod can help?

i notice you have some large pics yourself..if i measured them, they're way larger than 6x6.

'do as i say not as i do' -the bible somewhere

this is what you choose to debate me on?

Remove it from your sig then. It's the kind of nonsense that UncleBuck does. You don't want to be confused with him, now do you

It also totally distracts from the topic when used outside of the BS political commentary, or passes for it

it distracts you? good..it's working.

no one but no one, could be confused for Bucky..that mold was broken.

ps. i made an edit..should've waited.

show me where there's any picture in my signature

Your distraction has so far wasted a lot of time and unnecessary space in a thread where it serves no function to said thread.

Unless you get that, and finally remove it from your signature, you are the equivalent of UB

Your call. Choose wisely
