thinking of starting a maine medical marijuana co-op, any interest out there?

There are a bunch of us out there. I would love to try to start a co-op of some sorts. a "weed exchange". Buying seeds and clones on-line is not legal (large customs fines, possible federal charges and possible prison time.) and can be a waste of money, however two patients sharing resources is perfectly legal. feel free to contact me.

Wouldn't you have to be listed as each others care givers? (to trade amongst yourselves?) Otherwise licensed as a dispensary?
I only ask because I would love to help, I personally know what its like to need medication and have it unavailable to you. But I am also concerned about the legality's of pot trade. We live in what's essentially a decriminalized state but there are still alot of potential inconvenience and costs that could be incurred as a product of any perceived illegal act. (and that's just locally speaking I would rather not fathom what the DEA might do).

I don't think there is anything in the law or rules that prohibit registered patients from trading/providing for each other. They only mention restrictions on providing marijuana to non card-carriers.

Perhaps the fact that such affiliations were made illegal with the new law put a damper on it.

Resurrecting an old thread . Looking for a good earthy kush( landrace, afghani) for breeding . A good tasting blueberry strain, and most important an energetic uplifting all day smoke that will actually kill my pain like an indica but not make me tired! I have a 2 yr old to keep up with and osteoarthritis so I'm on the go all day long with pain. Hope to get something going on maybe a once a yr get together reunion type of trading smoking party thing! Like a family reunion!

I'd be interested in such relationships with other growing patients and licensed caregivers(if law permits, of course)! We owe it to ourselves to seek/trade with each other to attain the correct med for our personal necessities, right? That, as we well know, takes a little fine-tuning and tweaking.

What, specifically, is the rules on such a relationship(s)?

I'd like to participate as well. I just don't have enough space to grow but I'll try to help anybody if needed.

There are some guys in the Central Maine area that( I hear ) have a big warehouse, where a few, or more either certified patients, or caregivers have a massive grow area! From what I've heard, this place is full of grows! I want this! I think, with the right security, this would be an excellent idea! The more that can comfortably fit into this. I know they claim to be completely legal and all have Maine certs. They don't bring anyone to their place, nor do they sell out of there, so it surely isn't a nickel-bag store...

I live in the Central Maine area and I'd be willing to be a partner in this type of business. You get enough folks, make sure your patient or caregiver certs are posted in a visible area and there we have it.

If we have members that would like to explore something like this, lets talk!
