Thinking of adding some CFLs to my LED grow need some help

thinking of adding some CFLS into my grow but i dont c how you guys actually get it set up!! lol im probably stupid and just cant seem to find the right thing but i know you guys use something like this.....

But then what is it pluged into???? Lol forgive me i know im probably just missing something obvious! But i cant figure it out. Im thinking of buying maybe two of these, but if i can figure out what those plug into then i can save alot of money i think lol

what ever CFLS i figure out to get they will be added as like side lights? will that work? or should i just hang them as well. What spectrum should i get? i will be flowering with them.

Get the 2700k for flowering I think it is called "soft white", also the splitter from amazon screws into a normal light socket. All you need is a clamp on heat lamp fixture or something similar to get started down that road. Also, I have used cfls for side lighting in the past, I have never tried them as a primary light source.

Something more like this http://www.petco.com/product/9469/Flukers-Clamp-Lamps.aspx it has the wider reflector to give the necessary room for two lights, and if there is not enough room you can remove the reflector. I found them at lowes but I'm sure any local hardware store will have them in stock.

You can easily make reflectors from aluminum cans, cardboard and foil or Mylar, aluminum sheets etc. anything shiny you can bend. Cfls don't get too hot so fires aren't much of an issue.

The closet is fully wrapped in Mylar already, hmmm well thanks all! Any more input on what lights or light sockets to use that would be great thanks
