thinking about 2 different methods. input welcome

I'm still a little ways off before i start my indoor grow, but i've been looking into 2 different methods to try. I'm very limited on space, funds, and i prefer the fastest grow, even at the sacrifice of a larger yield.

The choces are, either 2 or 3 plants lst'd in a rubbermaid, veg'd for 2 weeks 16/8, and 2 weeks 14/10, then flowered till ready.

or..

10 or so plants, veg'd for a week or 2 16/8, then right into flower till ready. I've read post from some who claim an once per plant this way without veging. I realize those results are not typical especially for a 1st time indoor grow, but if 1/2 oz is proper then i'm good.

Both setups would use seeds from the same strain. Not sure of the name, but it is indica, purple, HUGE buds and just some great smoke.:hump: Both setups would be lit wit ~15 cfl's, around 200 watts and 13,500+ lumens in a space of ~2.5 square feet.

Any thoughts on which would produce the bigger yield? I know it's by no means an exact science and chances are i'll get some males, but maybe someone has tried both and can tell the difference in their yield.

thanks.

even with lst the rubbermaid might not be tall enough.
you have enough lights for 2 plants, 3 would be a push, def not 10. why not veg longer? 4 weeks veg would make a difference, from flowering right away ive seen harvest as low as 3 grams

Can someone show me a picture of these rubbermaids i hear alot of talk about them. I dont think we have them where i am. It must be an American thing

So option 1 would be a better yield. Those would be veg'd for about 4 weeks. I'm just extremely limited on space as well and time.

Also, i'll be using cool for veg, and soft for flowering, and during flowering i could up the amount of lights to around 24-25. I'f my math is correct i'll have 75-80 watts per square ft during veg, and 125-130 during flower. The lumens during flower would be about 22,500 or 9000 per square ft.
