what can I do guys? Prolly doubled in height since flip to 12-12.
defoliate the bigger leaves and bend the crap out of them... you'll be amazed, and they don't have much time left for stretching anyways
Supercrop. Pinch the stem and roll it in your fingers til it's soft and gently bend.
Get some trellis or something and run them up the walls?
Trim the bottom 2/3 of the plant and then gently break your tallest stems so they don’t separate from the plant. They are hollow so if you apply a pinch like pressure it should collapse.
Another thing you can try is tying some small twine to the corners of your tent and tying them to your bigger branches. Slip knot them so you can can pull them back gradually.
Man I've heard of a third but 2/3 holyshit that's a lot?
What light are you using? I have quantum boards and the bottom 2/3rds of my plant were larf. Mind as well cut early to open space up and get more circulation. Leads too denser nugs.
Samsung f564b build 3500k. Covers an 8x5 area with an even coverage of 30,000 lumens at 12", that's 30,000 in every inch of square footage. A total of 1600 watts.
Cut the plant in half and put the top half where the bottom was. This will certainly solve your height issue.
Your light is much different from OP. I would go with trimming more early in flower to allow for air flow and better light penetration. But that’s also going to be dependent on the length of your branches. I just had a grow that took off in flower. When you only have 24 inch branches you probably don’t want to trim 2/3 but when you have 48 inch long branches the 2/3 makes a little more sense.
Thanks for all the tips not sure which one I will try yet.
I have 250 watt led light.
Yeah man don’t worry about cutting some fan leaves. Like half of them.... or more.
We will see how ya goes...
this is why you run a scrog in small spaces and top the plant several times in veg. the more tops you can make the better a few long branches isnt the way to go but ill produce something
True that. That's about a 1/10th of what could potentially come from that space.
What happens if you defoliate the shit out of your plant, as it appears some have, an you run into a problem and lose some naturally?
I don't like to defoliate to much incase my girls run into unforeseen problems and lose leaves because of it.
If you're plant is sick to the point where it's losing leaves, I wouldn't think any withholding of defoliation would have saved it
At this point, I'd just spread out and maybe bend over upper half of those to fill the spece completely, lowef center branches will catch up.... then you'll have at least twice as many main shoots hopefully.. good luck!
