think I pollenated my crop 5 weeks into veg, what now?

I have 10 or so plants showing preflowers, then I had 4 or 5 that I thought were male. I was thrown off when a single pistil came out of one of the balls I suspected as a pollen sack.

After further investigation, I'm pretty sure it was a hermie. So I pulled the males, but think 2 or 3 pods were partially open on them.

How screwed am I?? will I only have a few seeds, or should I expect a bunch and just start over?

I'm 5 weeks into veg.

Any help is appreciated!
 
any more input on my situation guys? I would love to know what I'm in for, should I expect 100's of seeds, a couple, none?

you have hermies at 5 weeks VEG??

you pollenated females at 5 weeks veg with 5 week old veg males?? how did they even have pollen at veg unless you flowered it and converted back or something

:wall::wall::wall: u dont need to put them into 12/12 for them to show per-flowers
 
i aggree with pot head, if u didnt force flower them then they auto flowered and if u saw the pollen sacks early enuf then i doubt that they split that early.
i fink ur sorted dont think u could have pollenated a female that early wen only showing early signs of sex.

wat strain is it u growing?
 
Its to early for the male to pollenate a female that has barely any pistils on her. you might find 1-5 seeds in your bud if your lucky.
 
if you feel there is pollen in your room turn off fan and during your next dark period mist every thing plants and room with water
 
i think your in the good bro, theres really no bud to be pollinating if they are only showing hairs here and there
 
same thing happened to me and the farther away from my fan you got the more seeds there were. i think because the wind kept em off the closest plants. anyway. when they got seeded. they got ruined seeded. like 80000000000 seeds . it ruined the crop...not totaly but close. and the sucky thing is you cant evcen use hermie seeds cause youd just be creating more hermies.....thats why you should always buy seeds instead of growing bag seeds. when i grew seeds i bought i got 58 out of 60 females. and not one hermie.....next i threwe some seeds a friend gave me and the hermies destroyed my crop......i fuckin hate seeds.
 
I doubt I'll get 800000000 seeds from a couple premature male pollen sacks opening... at least I hope not D;. Thanks for all the info guys, I guess I'll just ride it out and see what happens. Hope I didn't completly fuck my first grow, it was going soo well too.
 
lol, thought this post was dead. So to confirm, yes I had some male pollens sacks open in veg, and yes I had female preflowers present in the room. As of now I'm unsure of the impact, but I'm not all that concerned. I'm growing a cronic strain I got some seeds from a buddy that he produced.

I have noticed some brown hairs on the lower nodes, so who knows if these means they are pollenated or not. Regardless it will be a small amount of seeds if they do pop up.

You will see the seeds fast, your not going to have to wait long to know for sure. I have some lower branches pollenated and yes the first sign is the hairs or pistils pull back fast and turn darker fast. The seeds on mine were showing way before the flower even got formed. It was very easy on lower branches to pull the seeds off and allow to dry. Some of the ones I left on for another week have already started to outgrow the seed pod and I can see the tips on some of them. I plan to remove all plants this sunday and spray down the entire room to ensure its not getting worse. Next grow I will make sure never to dry a male plant in the house period
 
I think I'm in the clear then, even though I do have some lower nodes with brown hairs. There doesn't seem to be any seed production or even bud production for that matter down low. I quite enjoy grinding up those POS males in my food disposal... little fuckers.
