DWC.
T-5 veg in 6 gallon buckets.
5 25 gallon marine coolers.
5 1000 watt flower air cooled hoods.

1.5+ lbs per plant.
Nothing special, nothing magical, just an air pump, a light, water, nutes and a plant.

CX hydro line with a water/nute change once a week. We have played with others but nothing has worked as well as CX. We have a test run with Humboldt's new hydro line and so far it's doing well, just not seeing the same results as we get with CX.
 
Aw yeah, u on it!!! Beautiful results. What about advanced nutes, u tried?? I'm ONLY asking cause they GUARANTEE the products will out perform MOST other nutes, r your money back. As long as u followed instructions.

That root mass is absurd, looks damn good though. Makes me want to give the nutes a shot lol

The only Advanced we've ever used is their ph up and down concentrates.

I trim leave tips and shape the plants a lot in veg which adds to our root mass regardless of strain or nutes. An old habit from growing in soil I've yet to break.

Interesting hadn't heard that before. How's trimming the leaves get them to root more..?

Damage to the plant sends the plant into self preservation mode, rooting and repair. This is one of the reasons they say not to trim a plant too much in flower. The plants energy becomes split between flower and repair/rooting taking away from the flower production.

This is usually a cloners trick to get cuttings to root faster. A cutting roots in search of nutes/food and this rooting is stepped up with the plant/cutting taking damage. So snip of a few leaf tips on a cutting and it roots even faster.

Got yah, I had heard to snip the leaves when cloning, but never had heard an explanation as to why this assists in root development. Thanks for the clarification and your method is really interesting as well as obviously effective. How many airstones do you have in the 25g coolers? If I ever get around to doing such monsters in DWC I will definitely remember that a cooler is a viable option. Do you run the the whole CX line or use their one part? Reminds me a lot of the cyco platinum line for some reason, I've got a buddy using it in soil and he swears by the stuff.

Every net pot starts off with 4 stones. 2 small rounds in the bottom of the pot and two large hanging just below the bottom of the pot .
I change buckets according to root mass and add stones accordingly but the 4 in the net pot are with it through the plants life. By the time the plant hits the 25 gallon it has a total of 12 stones. 8 of which are directly lined into the cooler. All large rounds.

We use the entire CX line after finding most lines balance the nutes mixtures differently. So changing one product out can either overload one thing or lack another making problem solving even harder if the plant shows signs of trouble. I personally love it because of how clean the line is and I also use it on the mothers which are in soil.

AWESOME. Thanks for the tips, once I choose my keepers for my room and dialed them in I'll make sure to try out the line so I have something to base the results off of.

Shiiiiaaat, just look on YouTube at 6 week vegs, they look NOTHING like mine. Not saying their outcome wasn't good r that it wasn't fire. All I'm saying is the nutes r the difference. My plants respond ta topping immediately!! No issues other then when I mess up something. They roll hard on advanced, never letting up!!
