Will it any substantial damage to my plants if temps during the first 2-3 hours of lights on are 82-85F and around 78-80F for the remainder?

not too much, they might suck up a lot of water tho, just make sure your leaves arent getting too dry. 85 is pretty warm, try to get it a little bit down if u can tho, but it should not cause too much harm if u watch it. but i would recommend u do try to get it down tho.

Keep the air moving with an oscalating fan.Wont be too bad if you had co2 youd be right on point temp wise.

I was going to get a CO2 boost bucket, but I heard they're garbage.

I have two oscillating fans in there (well, not oscillating, but they're 6 inch two-speed fans; one is pointed at the bottom of the light, and the other is pushing air over the tops of the plants). Those two fans alone, plus opening an extra window, brought my temps down from 90 to about 80. I'm picking up another fan tomorrow, so hopefully that will bring it down even further!

And my friend suggested that I freeze 9-10 water bottles and place them in the tray around the pots (I'm only working with nine square feet) to bring the temp down.

In theory, would this work if I kept replacing the frozen water bottles with newly frozen bottles once they start to thaw?

It might help some but it will also add humidity fro condensation.co2 boost buckets are good for smal areas or couple plants.Look into a co2 tank setup much beter and controllable and will pay itsself off after first grow
