Some of these things are personal opinions from experience, which is good. Some Q's have ACTUALL DATA by people with college degrees, time and test equipment.
THAT's what I'm looking for. SUPPORTED DATA.
Let's collect SUPPORTING DATA that YOU have uncovered on your search for the holy cola. (LINK THEM to this thread)
ADD YOUR DATA TO THIS THREAD. Once we have DATA we can experiment with things intelligently.
I'll start with things I've found actuall data on.
CO2.................. YES, IT WORKS!! (see the link below with actual SUPPORTING DATA)
I've seen plenty of proof that adding CO2 helps grow. It looks like 1200 to 1500 PPM (parts per million) is about the range you want. About 3 times that of atmospheric CO2.
You'll need a CO2 meter to know though. There is a wealth of onfo in the 2 links provided.

Ways to get CO2. (ADD YOUR IDEAS IF YOU HAVE DATA)
CO2 can be provided several ways. Some cheap n easy, some both and some neither.
Choices
1. Buy a commercial CO2 generator (Spendy) $350 up.
2. CO2 tanks and regulator. (spendy and quite a bit of work filling and hauling tanks
3. Fermentation. Do it yourself with yeast, sugar water mix. Needs re charged occassionally. Cheap fairly easy. Or, BREW your own beer and wine and capture that CO2. (best idea. Labor intensive to start but by the end,....who cares. Your drunk
)
Here are a couple of good links providing DATA.
B. There are commercially available CO@ bags that are supposed to produce CO2 for a few months for 4-6 plants. Exhale is one company that makes these. They run from about $22 to $40 (for the same thing, so SHOP)
4 Dry ice. PURE SOLID CO2. Can be pricey, messy and not easy to find but it IS CO2.
5. Flame (questionable), IE: propane, butane torch stove etc. Expensive in the long run. Produces heat, fire hazard if not attentded and produces more CO, Carbon MONOXIDE.
6. CO2 fire extinguisher. I'm still looking into cost but these bust out a blast of CO2. I'm going to test this one and post results. Seems like a great, neat, contained, safe CO2 source. I'm currious how much CO2 is expelled on a 1 second burst, how much rise in CO2 it gives, how long it lasts and how many 1 second burst are in a tank vs. cost.
I have some questions.
(Germinating, Growing, Budding ) What's Optimal temperature? Optimal humidity?
LST. What is it, why use it, how to do it? ( Love to know)
PLEASE ANSWER THIS ONE. With an artificial INDOOR ENVIRONMENT, shouldn't a person be able to grow, flower, bud and harvest their ladies THEN, by adjusting the light cycle and maybe nutes, make the ladies produce AGAIN?? The plant it there and grown. How do you harvest THEN put the plant back into veg cycle??? PLEASE!!
OR,......is cloning the way to jump start the growing process?
Leaves need CO2, Roots need OXYGEN ?? Can supplying suplimental Oxygen to roots help plants grow?
We are NOOOOOOOOOOOOBz here. Would some of you more fully baked grow guys n girls shed some light on the basics of busting out big bad bubs.
I'm SURE there are LINKS to actual DATA on a WIDE RANGE of these questions that provide DATA. They just aren't that easy to find.
If YOU know where these valuable nuggetts of data packed information reside, PLEASE link the address in this thread.
