This is my third grow.

I germinated all my seeds by placing them in a wet paper towel inside an open ziploc bag. I germinated 10 white widow seeds from my previous grow and 5 aurora indica seeds w/ 100% germination.

I am growing indoors in soil, under CFLs and fluorescents.

The soil I am using is mostly Miracle Grow Potting Mix (green bag) w/ about 10% perlite or vermiculite for aeration.

I vegged 6 white widows in the growbox using 6 x 27 watt daylight CFLs for about 2 weeks. They were then switched to 12/12 lighting a week ago using 6 x 40 watt CFLs (3000K) and 3 x 27 watt CFLs (2700K). A small fan is hooked up inside to circulate air + strengthen stems. The growbox is lined w/ mylar on the sides and ceiling to increase reflectivity. There is a single 70cfm cpu fan installed on top to ventilate air, and two passive intake holes cut near the bottom of each end of the box. Temps stay in the low 70s while the lights are on.

The rest were vegged under 6 x 4 foot fluorescent lights (dunno what kind). They have been vegging for about 2 weeks and are going to go into 12/12 lighting this weekend. An fan is hooked up on one end to increase airflow + strengthen stems. I'm going to buy 10 x 40 watt CFLs for flowering.

I am watering them all from the tap, but will probably start adjusting my water (to pH around 6.5) because my tap water is a little high (pH ~

All plants were watered a little bit every day for the first week (sprouting). After the first week, the plants are watered 2-3 quarts every 8 or 9 days.

The Aurora Indicas underneath the fluoros were moved under 6 x 40 watt 3000k CFLs, and are now in the closet. One of the bigger widows under the fluoros was moved into the growbox. The other three were have been left under 3 x 27 watt 2700k old CFLs I have and have grown stretchy.

The White Widows in the growbox were watered 1/2 gallon on wednesday. They were reaching the lights, so the second level of the growbox was added. It is an identical tub placed upside down on top, coated on the inside w/ mylar. The plants were boosted on books / boxes to be w/in a few inches of the lights.

Of the 7 widows in the growbox, 2 are confirmed males. Hopefully the rest are females. That will make up for my previous 5/7 males in my last grow.

The closet plants will be watered 1/2 gallon in a few days.
