The variation of pH on tap water and distilled water

some results of testing pH levels in different waters:

my tap: 8.0
distilled water from grocery store: 7.0
distilled water from another source: 4.0
best pH for our plants: 6.5

4.0 and 8.0? dang. Im not going to use ANY water from now on without testing. No sense in letting something this simple interrupt growth and damage plants.

your point is that you will always check your water ph? Have you just bought your first ph meter or something? Next pearls of wisdom?

no point, just info.
I was lead to believe that distilled water was always neutral. its not.

I also was relying on one pH meter early on that was proven WRONG by chemical analysis.

sorry if I interrupted your concentration, genius.

lol, people like you just make me laugh, no need to get touchy, you did come to a growing forum and disclose some ridiculously basic information though. Did you know the world is round?:bigjoint:
