The stretch is a myth.. prove me wrong

Total stretch 2 inches... Anyone else have that? Know why? All the horror stories I read but I never noticed anyone stating theirs didn't move in the 3 weeks... Some pics.. red line was pre flip.. besides that... Looks like I'll get at least 2 pounds off this one plant.
Jokes aside I'm looking forward to seeing this fatten up, the node length is tiny which is why the stretch was small.

My current grow is a runt. Only stretched two nodes after the flip. Shit happens.
Haha I guess this could be called a runt too... Maybe that was something to contribute too. Had a hard life early on and was kept in veg for 3 months.

Makes me wonder if you LST the shit out of them so by the time you switch the stems are quite mature. Also most of the centre colas are side branches

This runt i planned on tossing till the better growing plant hermied 3 weeks into 12/12. The hermie stretched to double easy with awesome staggered buds. From seed you get what you get.

You forced the hermi or knew it was coming through rough treatment?

The main stems get woody over time...less likely to stretch much. Reveg plants do that too.
I did notice this when I started the mothers for my cloner. I kept them in solo's too long, the kept them in one gallon smart pots too long while waiting for the ones in the tent to ripen. These mothers where kept small so that when it was time to start it for clones they were heavily woody, took longer to clone, but still got 33 of 34 clones to take.
Now I am days away for flower so shall see how they stretch, the lower portion of plant show some woodiness but the upper portions that will be stretching are soft tender growth. Remember apical cells or the growth point they should all be soft tender growth.
