my neighbor said to chop it down. I didn't know that males were no good until he told me & I came on here to make sure. On another site it said it doesn't matter, but I definitely believe you guys over that article.

Afterthought--
Can you not do anything with the male plant? I mean is it completely useless? I might sound like an idiot asking these questions, but I've never seriously cultivated a plant. I've grown them plenty of times, but just as a sort of experiment; it never went past that. My other neighbor (who is a complete idiot, so why take anything he says seriously...) seems to think you can smoke the leaves, but it's all about the bud, right? Needless to say...I'm confused.
