image.jpeg hello all! It's been a while since I've grown so I'm dusting off my green thumb.

I have been re vegging a strain I got from a friend and have been experiencing a few problems. Many of the bud sites molded, many died in transplant, and even a few more have not started expressing signs of new growth, BUT there are 6 that are starting to veg again and have new growth.

I had the baby clones in a too hot and not well drained enough bag of ocean forest- the leaves have been drooping ever sense even though the new growth looks healthy. I have transplanted them into Ligjt Warrior and they no longer are expressing signs of N toxicity.

My question is will the old growth ever recover from the droop of being over watered and having nitrogen toxicity? Also now the old fan leaves are turning slightly yellow , sign of over watering? Thanks in advance all!image.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpegimage.jpeg

Yeah, N problems should show recovery....Any other problem will not!

The plant has become "stable" again. When it throws 5 leaf sets! It's starting to do 3's, so it's on the way!

Remember - patience is key...
 
Hey thanks dr who! ( love the show )

I think that these exerted signs of overwatering and nitrogen toxicity. Now I'll just be waiting for that new growth! They finally are throwing out some good signs!

I think you could trim off the damaged leaves without any stress to the plant. It has plenty of energy in the roots to make new growth.
 
They always get real wierd when you reveg a bloomed plant. They look good though I'm sure they'll be better in a few weeks. I found if you dump the bag of FFOF into a bin or something and mix it up with a little perlite and coco it will be ok for young clones. It's got like hot spots in it...

Thanks for the tip! the roots are doing great ( especially in the ones already with new growth) and I've started trimming off the funky curled leaves and new fan leaves start popping up. I haven't noticed anything yet with the new growth but I can tell they are starting to want Ocean Forest.

Word man, re vegging always brings out the funky side of the plant. I'll usually amend FfOf 3 to 1 with perlite but haven't used coco in it yet. I like the drainage pretty well with the additional perlite added.
 
So the problems are persisting and I have to say I'm at a loss for what's going on.

There is definite new growth, still the funky re veg growth, but none of the old growth has recovered. Now the new growth is starting to slightly cup, show some very slight browning on the tips typically indicating nute burn. They are in Light Warrior though and have only had RO water phd to spec and amended with cal mag. I had recently put a thin layer of FFOF as top soil to slowly add nutes.

I was worried I had over watered them so have been letting them dry out very well for 5 days and then lightly watered with 50ml of water amended just with cal mag.

The leaves are still showing slight signs of cupping and yellowing. thw roots are looking healthy and in my opinion have had plenty of oxygen and drainage since being in poor draining soil and not draining.

The new growth feels silky and healthy like it should with only some showing some brittleness. The old growth is very cupped and mostly crispy. Any insight as to what you think is going on? I know new re veg growth is funky but just makings sure there isn't something else going on.

the temps are typically 68.9-76 at any given time in the day. They have had some drastic variation some days just so since it is a temp grow site and relies on central air for heating and cooling. Not the greatest but getting fixed soon.

Also the humidity is roughly 35%

just took another look, are those cob webs in your plant or just a hair? the yellowing is something else...I'm looking at the plants in the background...more pic of the whole bang
 
Another item on the list to address, Dog hair. Ill upload some pics of the growspace, it is very small. Underneath my kitchen sink for lack of room anywhere else ( our house is under 300 sqft) There is a 250 watt CFL with two 100W CFL bulbs on the side to supplement heat and extra light when cold.

lol...dogs suck with grow opps...they bring in bugs.. but you gotta love em
