How Much Does it Cost to Produce One Ton of Aluminum?
Although the newest smelters can be closer to 12,500 kWh per ton, let’s say most smelters are consuming electricity at 14,500-15,000 kWh/ton of ingot produced. With the LME at $1,300/metric ton, that means electricity should be costing a typical smelter $0.029/kWh.

That's an awful lot of electricity sitting in that trailer...

I moved into a new truck yesterday, well new to me anyways. It's the same year as the other truck I was driving (2014 Freightliner Cascadia) with about 150,000 less miles, this one is a manual 10 speed, I like it better than the automatic I was driving. I have a dash cam now too, going to start posting YouTube vids of shitty drivers.

Maybe not the best picture, but here's the inside of the cab

Also got a new Garmin DeZL 580 GPS. I used my fuel reward points I've been saving up from the truck stop by my shop, otherwise that Garmin would've cost $300. Gotta love getting free stuff from using the company fuel card, next thing I'm saving my fuel points for is a Cobra CB (I'm about halfway there). I will talk some mad shit to Trump lovers on the CB, LOL

Both are hiker approved.

All the problems there is in the world today and one of the things that pisses me off the most is dry lips. I always have a stick of lip balm handy in my house, personal truck and work truck. I never go without.

I'm going to order a couple tubes of Dr. Bronner's lemon/lime lip balm and Mexico will pay for it. I've never seen/heard of that brand before and it looks like good stuff.

I need to get my new truck fully set up sometime this weekend. It didn't come with a fridge. I need to get new sheets and pillows for the bunk, even though I don't do long haul driving I'm just a local driver and home every night, more often than I like I get held hostage on the dock at shipper/receiver sometimes...for 2-3 hours at a time and it's nice to take a nap or relax and read a book in the bunk.

Not sure yet if I'm going to buy a small fridge or just an iceless cooler for the truck, probably just a medium size iceless cooler.

I'll take you guys on a picture tour once I get my truck squared away

This morning driving into work there was a NPR program called "how I built that" about the lady who built Burt's Bee's into a international company. I was looking for tunes, so didn't listen. But it's usually an interesting program.
