The Other Canabanoids

while reading some stuff about marinol, an argument was raised that marijuana is better because it has other canabanoids other than THC that Marinol doesn't have.

now obviously they probably just enjoy smoking as opposed to the weird body high marinol must give you. but does anyone know what other canabanoids are in marijuana or how they contribute to the high?

because if pure THC is the only thing that effects it, than how would this explain different bud or different types of high. Im sure the THC content cant be the only factor.

Waait a second, isnt marijuana the ONLY PLANT that has cannabinoids?

also, thc is not universal in every cannabis plant. Its kinda like different form of apples, or maybe different types of species. each has its own attributes.

no I meant other cannbinoids that are IN marijuana. There is more than just THC. I actually did a tiny bit of research yesterday, to find two other common types of cannabinoids in marijuana that produce little to no effect on their own, but help increase the effect when paired with THC.

I believe in total, marijuana plants, are home to around 66 types of cannabinoids, but most have never even been studied.

If you looki at the seed banks, many will tell how much and what percent the other cannaboids in the plant has. All in initials by the way.

Marinol is the FDA approved synthetic THC that doctors can give to cancer patients for nausea, appetite control, and pain relief. The only problem with this is that most cancer patients who have tried marinol and have smoked cannabis prefer cannabis because marinol occasionally doesn't do what it's supposed to... Yay for government hypocrisy... They'll FDA approve a drug that is synthetic THC yet condemn the organic and totally safe version... How typical.

another reason its not prefered is because marinol is ingested not smoked. it creates a different high, similar to hash or weed brownies. from what ive collected from friends who have eaten brownies, it last several hours, is a very unstable high with different peaks, and can cause paranoia. my buddy said he actually hallucinated on brownies, and that he also got high the next day after eating them while working out.

Yep.

Had that happen too. I had a friend makes weed brownies with 4 ounces of some nice dank. I ate a third of the pan and was trippin' nuts and then woke up stoned as hell the next morning where I continued to be high for another 5 hours... That was the last time I do something like that.
