I'm currently growing in a mix of Ocean Forest and Light Warrior from Fox Farm, but using the Canna Tera line for my nutes. So far things have been doing a lot better and I plan on moving to coco for the next grow and switching to the A+B coco nutes and 5 gallon smart pots since I'm a little limited on space. My girls are currently at 15" in height and will be kicked over to flower fairly shortly. Once they go into flower, I'm thinking of getting a veg tent. I wish I could just convert the spare room that we have, but it's insisted to keep it as a regular bedroom in case guests come over. Whatever, I have a fuckin couch haha. :P

that is one tight nug. 7 gms......fair play mate
that nug was harvested after only 53 days of flowering.... everyone on the web says its a 9-10 week strain but i couldnt see letting mine go that long since i always have amber trichs and 90+ percent orange hairs...
but yea, 7 1/2 weeks bud ! Im gunna try 9 weeks again this time but it usually fox tails and flarfs out way too bad.

wow man, that's a real fast finish....I like it even more now!

Quick question J actually if you don't mind....what's your regime with the PK 13/14?....I see a lot of people use it right through flower, from start of bud formation. But according to the canna schedule you are only supposed to feed with it for a week or so around week 3 of flowering, or when buds are starting to develop. That's would be next week for me.

Would just be intereted to know how you use it?......cheers man! :joint:

i use it for almost 3 weeks...at 4 ml per gallon for the most part...

i start using it a few days after the flowers develop a bunch of pistols and stop when the nugs are finished linking together... by week 6 im done using it.

the plant only needs the pk for around 7-10 days, but to make sure i give it on the exact 7-10 days it is needed, i start early and end late... and canna assured me it wouldnt have any ill side effects...

i still pump it up to 6ml per gallon during the 7 days that i suspect to be the pk sweet spot.

it depends on how long your flower time is also... if you had a 12 week flower time, than you wouldnt want to use it until like week 8 or something like that.

i generally use the pk from the 3rd week for a week then give it a couple of extra feeds at weekly intervals after that.

i was wondering jberry i know folks generally say there's little to no need to flush coco but last harvest i had a couple of plants that crackled once dried n smoked. so i probably should be flushing a bit longer. but if i want to re use the coco i dont want to be flushing with straight water right? ive got final phase from AN but haven't really used it since i switched to coco. should i just be flushing with the weakest A+B mix?

cheers

its important not to use plain water when the coco is new...
but by the time you flush at the end, your levels of microlife should be pretty high, and should be able to handle some flushing...

i DO flush with plain water and take my chances flushing away my micro life.. i usually flush for 3-4 days.
but my second run seems to do better, so i guess it doesnt flush EVERYTHING away, if your levels are built up nice and high. I add Great White for the first 4-5 weeks to build high levels.

but any other time i would use at least 2ml per gallon of Coco A + B or make sure my EC is at least 0.6

ive done a 2 weeks flush and a 2 day flush and honestly, i had a hard time telling the difference...
Is it possible that the crackeling you had was from OVER feeding?

i cut my A and B off for the last week or even two, but i keep feeding lightly with everything else i use until about 3 -4 days before harvest....

...no crackle

honestly, i dont know much about cogr... i dont really understand all the benefits it gives...

the way i understand it, the cogr coco has to be buffered by the grower at home when using cogr... i'll try to look into it more when i have time...

i think madazz uses cogr coco (not sure if he uses the cogr nutes tho), maybe he has something to add here?

i have never used canna start... but i wouldnt use any nutes on seedlings !.... wait until they have some "true" leaves
and a decent root system...

other than that advise.....just follow the instructions on the label i guess?...

CANNA Start

CANNA Start

CANNA Start is a balanced one-part nutrient for seedlings and (rooted) cuttings. CANNA Start can be used on various substrates like CANNA Terra SeedMix, Rockwool, Jiffy Plugs, Fleximix, RootRiot and many more.
CANNA Start gives you all the micro- and macro nutritional elements for a seedling or cutting to develop into a strong healthy plant.
Growing with CANNA from clone to crop! Many of you have requested this as you had to use a different brand for some specific tasks instead of using CANNA the whole way. Well here is the proof CANNA listens to you! Although you can have more than excellent results without this product some Connoisseur growers out there simply want to use it to make sure their crop is like no other, now you can! Use CANNA all the way.

CANNA Start Directions of Use

Directions of use
• Shake bottle well before use
• Fill nutrient reservoir with water
• Add CANNA Start to the nutrient reservoir with the dilution ratio 1 : 250
• The EC of CANNA Start dissolved in (tap) water varies between 0.7 – 1.3 mS (= the solution EC + the water EC)
• Recommended pH: 5,2 - 6,2
• Make sure there is sufficient drain (10%)
Storage, health & safety and other directions
• CANNA developed specialised nutrients for the stage after transplanting.
• Store closed in a dark and frost-proof place (UV light breaks down iron chelates in the nutrient)
• Keep out of reach of children
Warranty / Guarantee
CANNA only works with high graded nutrients and chelates, which are readily and completely available for the plant.
The bottle is made of Polyethylene (PVC and cadmium free), an easily biodegradable and recyclable plastic.

kool man thanks for the info. i do pump a lot of nutes pretty much all the way through flower. it was more than likely over feeding
