Well the Republicans got what they asked for. Control of both houses. So what are they going to do?
Well first thing is they will take credit for the improved economy. Not the one we have in the next 2 years. The one we have been having for the last 4.
They need to pay off their sponsors. Read that as anti labor, anti enviroment
Of course they will blame Obama for everything and give him credit for nothing
Purge the tea party, those that wont be in lock step with the RNC will get defunded for more pliable candidates
They will absolutly try to make their tent bigger. If you want to know the reason they are so upset with Obamas executive order. It has to do with the fact. He just shut down their Hispanic outreach effort. THEY were supposed to be the party that reformed immigration. Now they are against the wall, because Obama forced them there.
Oh and here is a good prediction. Look for Republicans in purple states to start advocating for Medical Marijuana
The Republicans have 2 years to convince the rest of us ( I dont include Fox news readers as intelligent) that they are not the stupid anti american assholes who have been slowing us down for the past 6 years. Lets see what they come up with for Ideas.
My guess is the majority of Americans will be appalled at what they produce and in 2016 will bounce them to the road. Anything is possible though. As a people we have short memorys, short spans of attention and a appetite for self destruction.
My mother who has been going thru Chemo for the last year and a half Voted for Paul Ryan simply because he is anti abortion. When I pointed out Paul Ryan's campaign centered around repealing Obamacare and getting rid of medicare The very things that have literally kept her alive. She said didnt know.that and he never espoused those views
