I can for sure tell the difference between good fruit and shitty fruit.
I cant tell you how or why its not right but I can tell you I love tomatoes and walmart tomatoes don't taste right
Oranges, cantaloupe, none of it.
Might as well be plastic
store bought tomatoes are chemically ripened on the way to the store. they use ethylene gas, the same gas fruits give off as they ripen and decompose. this is why vine ripened tomatoes taste better, and why putting unripe bananas or fruit in a sealed bag makes it ripen faster.

Unless the unflushed plant has 5-10% more visible trichomes because it was properly fed from start to finish and didn't get starved for a couple weeks at the end of its life.

:)
Post a pic :)

Lets just agree that we disagree like gents :)

Again i dont care what anyone else does

But if a bud is still full of nitro and chlorophyll

I personally think its best faded out

How ever there are many roads to acheive this.

Its worth it to me....but again i dont sell my shit its for me so it doesnt matter :)

But i judge others weed on how well it burns and taste (strain anomalies asside)

If you can make your bud burn to a fine white or light grey ash, light with one flick of the bic
And taste good till theres nothing there

It doesnt matter to me how you did it.

If you try to cash your pipe in your hand and it burns you ..........it was a coal and not fine ash hahah

carry on
You aren't fading the bud though. Just leaves. We smoke bud not leaves.

No science backs up a fade making it taste better.

No other crop, smokable or edible is faded.

You can't rid chlorophyll. That's evident because the bud is green. That breaks down over time. Hence the cure.

It just doesn't work that way. The leaves are stores. Ever notice a plant that needs nitrogen? It yellows at the bottom to support new growth.

When you fade those stores are moving to the bud you smoke.

That's just for mobile nutrients. The immobile ones don't move.

Here's something some don't consider. Chop right before lights on. Starches are in the root zone. The bud will smoke better. Smell better also because that's when terpenes are at thier highest.

Make sure temps and humidity are where it takes 5-7 days to dry before going into jars and burp daily about a week then let sit for at least a couple weeks.

If it's what you like to do then carry on. Just be honest about it. I bet it's placebo that makes it taste better.

That's fine. I've admitted on here that a couple things I do may be placebo. That's ok.

:)
Also remember that the plant will cannabalize itself so you dont need nutes for the last week or two

Many things afftect crystal production

I have no probs triching out a plant that is fully flushed :)

I would say plant health and relative humidity and uv light affect tricome production more ;)

You cant give outdoor away here,
Because people told other people it sucks.

Im like, dipshit this is organic "insert favorite strain here" painstakingly cared for under the sun with beautiful water.

Nope...

So Ill concentrate it and break it off in them anyway.
I just tell people to smoke it and tell me if it's indoor or outdoor.

Ive had outdoor that blows the doors off indoors.

I even have a theory about plants that were stressed and lived. Some of the best hunting dogs and pot I've had were runts. Go figure.

I like good sun grown pot. So much that I even use uv indoors when growing.

I even prefer a frost or two to hit my outdoor plants. It does something to them and I think they are better.

Just like the other thread. I've noticed the buds indoors closet to the fan that take a bit of beating are better.

Guys. Seriously.
Do whatever you do to ripen your plant.
When your trichomes are ripe. Flush for 3 to 5 days. Instead of just harvesting! This is what the major difference is for me. But wait until trichomes are the colour you like them, first. Always.
Ripen first. Jesus!

I guarantee they taste better, after several weeks cure.
They even get more stink on before the chop.

Right there supports what I'm saying. When it eats itself those nutrients move to New growth or in flower the bud.

It's all good man. Do what you do.

They are light green. Not lacking color so there is chlorophyll.

I kink of bought into the whole indoor outdoor thing leaning towards indoor
Edited that to say indoor from out.
But I have developed a deep liking for outdoor. Maybe i get attached because i spend more time out there.

Thats how i know i did a good job is if they taste good right off the drying rack no cure needed for my buds haha

Haha endless debate
I never said i had a problem with anyone my old post can be looked up saying this

Peace to all flushers and non flushers

What pisses me off is when peeps rag on a "flusher" then say they water with plain water for the last week same haha

@whitebb2727 mabey you have a point if i didnt fade would there be more trichs?
Those leaves are light but if you look closely at the bud it's green. Nothing wrong with that.
Again i care not

because i dont have to smoke your weed and you dont have to smoke mine

But why rag on people that flush ?
It's not ragging. I explained why the science doesn't make flushing taste better. You can't remove nutrients.

You say it does. You say it's chlorophyll. Meh. Your buds are green so that can't be it.

Not even saying you are wrong doing it that way.

Just saying you can't flush nutrients.
