THE grower who became prisoner

I WILL NEVER USE Miracle gro (MG) again! i feel as if i have no controll over my plants....like i became a prisoner and had my grower rights revoked. CAN 1 GROW W/ MG.? sure , 1 certainly can...and possibly done right could result w/ a good yield. Although my plants r coming along, i have no control and have been/feel relegated to a spectator. :cuss: The time release nutes r horrible; U CANNOT expepdite growth....by using exacltly what is needed at the time, be it more N, P, OR K....or even micro nutes. results r slower because of it - be it at the vegg or flowering stage.

I WANT SO BAD TO EMPTY OUT THAT SOIL-EXCEPT WHAT IS CONNECTED TO THE ROOTS....PUT IN NEW ORGANIC, NON-NUTE SOIL....AND GO FROM THERE......BUT it was advised by someone whom i respect to LEAVE IT ALONE.

Next week i'll be ordering a HPS panel~~~~ 150WATT HPS.jpg~~ right now i have over 19,000 lumens w/o it for 4 plants. soon i will be transporting the in a grow box that i will build.....then i will have another 4 growing in THE RIGHT SOIL and i will be in a much better position to grow better.....will I make mistakes~YES! but i'm willing to bet dollars to doughnuts that my new grow will BE MUCH BETTER. PLUS I WILL BE ORDERING SOME WHITE RUSSIAN SEEDS, I MIGHT GET THE AUTO-FLOWERING SEEDS, AND I HAVE 1/2 DOZEN O.G KUSH SEEDS.

TO ALL NEWBIES- PLEASE DON'T USE MG. U WILL SAVE URSELF SUCH A HEADACHE, AND DRAMA. BEST WISHES & HAPPY GROWING................joey:peace:
 
I did the same thing with my first indoor. Everything was going good the was watering time and a few days later bam nute burn. It got bad after that.

Your plants are young. I'm still on my first grow as well and when mine were younger I was freaking out over every little yellow spot or something like that.

Don't fret about the MG too much. They will get past the young stage and be able to handle whatever is in the MG when they get older no problem. Just don't use that MG shit again, lol.

I have a 400w hps, and the one plant I have is almost hogging all the light. 150w might be a little small for 4 plants depending on how long you're planning on vegging, I think. Might want to think about getting a bigger one, I don't think the cost difference is much?

YO HEAD, whats up w/ u man? lol -yes no more MG. again. yes... u saw the video...they do recover-it's a weed after all. no i agree w/ u on the wattage of the hps....but take into acct. im growing w/ dual spectrum lighting....i believe it's better for the plants until flowering then all red spectrum. but by then i'll have probally 25,000 lumens w/ just the cfl's + the 16,000 w/ the hps....i think thats what it puts out!?
the ratio red/blue spectrum is like 3 2700k for every 1 5000/ 6500k, out of 7 42watt cfl's 3 r on the blue end.......when flowering i'll go all red/ornge.

@ JAY~~~ YA i gta ya ....but sooo far my plants r coming along they would have died w/o the help of the members here.....they know who they r. lol i don't feel like writing all , about, 7 names now....still waking up!lol
