My personal choice for hydro store bought soil is Roots Organics. Second choice is Fox Farm Ocean Forest mixed 80/20 with perlite.

I'm a big fan of Fox Farm for soil and nutrients. I've also used Organicare, but wasn't as impressed.

I started of with roots organic, then tried fox farms ocean forest and didn't care for it that much its good soil I just prefer roots organic

I once got a bag of Fox Farm and it had gnats in it, kinda why I switched.

The nursery I buy it from is very careful with storage. I haven't had a bag yet with a single pest.
