Most Canadians forget that the enemy you face isn't some evil foreign hoard, but you own families and friends who are breaking your hearts because they seem under an evil spell, I try to explain why this is true for the vast majority of people who support Trumpism/Hitlerism. It's my hope it will lessen suffering and foster understanding. My motives are clear to me at least, though my methods are a mystery to some.

Perhaps I should keep my mouth shut, but my political leanings are universal. Name a country, planet, galaxy and my opinion will always be the same, Social Democrat. I'm a union man through and through as well. We've got a lot of work to do here in Canada too, especially with Andrew Scheer coming up, Trudeau being a hard sell and Singh phoning it in and being uninspiring at best. My vote goes normally goes to NDP or Green, depending on the candidate, but I will hold my nose and vote Liberal, regardless, if I think it will help hold the hose on a Conservative dumpster fire.

IF he had a wife, she left him when he tried to convince her that keeping his beer cold in the neighbor's refrigerator was a good answer to his shitty off-the-grid electrical system that couldn't power their own refrigerator.

OK Burt let's start over, ya made an excellent one. I'll match ya with a sincere apology, I'm sorry to have jumped on you, I deeply regret it and would like to make amends. I was mistaken, you appear to be more angry than evil, and I got pretty pissed myself and lost my equanimity. Criticize my prose all ya like I'm here to learn, just be clear on your motives for criticism and we keep stuff civil and see where we agree and differ ideologically with out getting to exited about, me and you both.(shitty prose)

Burt I'm not shitting you, have a look at some of the stuff I posted, it only takes 8 weeks of training. One of the reasons I started a practice was because of a bad temper and attaching my ego to thoughts and ideas. This is scientific stuff and there are many online evidence based free 8 week courses, yer getting into shit more for emotional reasons than for intellectual. I've trained and taught many years and learned the most form the people I've dealt with who are teachers today and trained in psychology too, I learned from obscure books and started out with TM and moving on to Buddhism, then later a more scientific approach as MRI scans reveled the effects of training the brain. I'm what's called a Buddhist Geek, one who uses modern science in addition to ancient techniques and I've learned most of my psychology from books and students who were always introducing me to what they learned in school.

Though an asshole like me might be a poor example it none the less will do a fellow a lot of good and makes ya happy as Hell! Today I'm retired in Nova Scotia and help out guys at AA, by joining and being one of the guys (no alcohol issues) and have trained some guys in the day to day grunt work and just monitor things and guide. I don't want to start a meditation center here and have 200 neurotic liberals at my knee either! I enjoy smoking pot and ya shouldn't teach formally if ya do, I run a small compassion club and provide bud, and concentrates to the poor and unfortunate for free. Half the dope I grow is 22% CBD and 1% THC and wouldn't get a fly high. For years before retirement I had a corporate job at CN rail starting as a skilled tradesman and union member and I still support unions too. My later positions meant I could not really enjoy a puff because of the complexity of the job and the weight of responsibility. When I retired from work in Winnipeg I also retired from teaching formally and only help out when I run across depression or suffering and ya go don't have to go far to find that. I got back into pot via the medical route, compassion club stuff.
