The DEA Just Placed a Marijuana-Derived Drug In Schedule V

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) placed a marijuana-derived drug in Schedule V of the Controlled Substances Act on Thursday.

The medication, Epidiolex, contains purified cannabidiol (CBD), a non-psychoactive ingredient in cannabis. It was approved as a treatment option for severe forms of epilepsy by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in June.

read the article. They only rescheduled the compound the Pharma company is using, they didn't reschedule CBD as a whole, hence its not legal in all fifty states. Before too long, you prolly gonna have to make your own CBD oil as Pharma's is so expensive, nobody can afford it. But yea ,they are trying to negate the CBD oil market as it now and monopolize it for themselves.

the only reason it ever gets legalized is money. they may talk a lot of shit about medical compassion, but if you took the possible financial gain out of it, it would still be illegal in all 50 states. anything the government gets involved in go straight to shit. people who have a clue won't take their nasty poisonous bullshit, produced by companies that are in it for money. they'll seek out good growers who produce good, pure, untainted products.the more they try to "legitimize" the more we'll stay in the darkest shadows of the black market
