The damned corperate industrial conspiracy!

Sorry, probably the wrong forum for this, but.
Can you believe it? I just drove to the nearest population center near my home two small cities comprising a population of roughly 50,000 people. I went to the shopping megaplex and not one store had a damn reciprocating fan, not one!. Those items are seasonal sir......It's a damn conspiracy!

Anyone have advice on a low cost high quality fan? I'm sure theres something on amazon.

Also if you feel like answering how many computer fans should be suitable for heavy air circulation in a 4x5 room?

I needed one for my DIY carbon filter and Wal-Marx didn't have any (seasonal) but Fred Meyers did, back in the section with the gardening stuff.
