The cost of lighting per month?

Roughly how much does everyone spend on lights a month? I have 8 babies that will be a week old in a day or so - heading out to pick up some t5 lights tomorrow to put the chitlins under. I'm trying to get a good judge of what to budget in for next month. Planning on doing a 18/6 schedule for my autos. Any input peeps?

With T5s, u probly wont even notice a difference... My bill may have gone up another twenty bucks a mo, MABYE, with a lil over 1K HID lighting runnin all the time... I REALLY wouldnt sweat it with T5s or CFLs!

Some could be 2, it could be 20. Multiply the energy consumption by the market rate per kilowatt hour. For example a 1kw light uses 1kw an hour, 1kw/h. If 1kw/h costs 20p, then the 1kw light costs 20p to run per hour. If the light uses 250w, then it uses 0.25kw/h, so 5p an hour to run.

There ya go... Didnt feel like breakin out my Ugly's Book for all that...lol... Ive done enuff electrical formulas in my 20 years as an electrician...lol I can perdy much be right on point by thinkin about it in my mind nowadays... I still haveta use ol' Ohm's Law every now and again though...
