Tomorrow the impeachment trial starts, which in my opinion should lay out to the American people what an absolute pile of shit the Republican party has now become under Trump.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer stated that the Turtles rules are a "national disgrace".
"His resolution creates a trial that is rushed with as little evidence as possible, and done in the dark of night," he said. "If they were so confident of their case, if President Trump had nothing too hide, if McConnell's ideas were sound, then why wouldn't they want it in broad daylight? Why are they trying to do things at two in the morning? Why are they saying the record of the existing trial cannot be put in this record but then we can't have new witnesses, new documents? This is just appalling."
Frightening stuff where the Pub's are restricting witnesses & document presentation, which sorta reminds me of the trials in the South for Black people during the 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's 90"s & and even up to today.
How the fuck are they getting away with this?
Is this the rule of law today under Trump, whereas he essentially is saying go fuck yourself, I'm King and I'll do whatever I want, just like he did by ignoring Congress & proceeded to build his Wall anyway, ignoring the popular vote just too satisfy his miniscule brain, massive ego & retarded base
