Ok so after smoking Afghan kush Ryder for the last 6 months I'm going back to my old favourite. Female seeds Cinderella 99.
As s change of pace I'm ditching the 250 hps and will be vegging with a 150 watt of cool white CFL bulb then putting in a 300 watt flowering CFL bulb in the reflector ,but hanging the 150 vertically as side lighting. I have a good feeling about this.

What makes this a sympathy grow? Well unfortunately the single seed I purchased has sprouted as a bit of a mutant, maybe even a runt though to early to say. ...I was thinking about tossing it and sprouting the paradise seeds original White widow ibl instead.. but something is telling me to stick with this..it may end up insane.. and Cindy has never let me down..so let's see what happens.

The first few leaves have grown all funky..but leaf set 3 looks like there is hints of it growing out of it

Change of plan. When transplanting the bottom.quarter of the soil stuck and the plant was ripped away from its bottom root mass. Not good. So I've decided to veg for another two weeks.
Few hours after she had perked up again so I also topped her aswell.

Looks like your instinct was right both in growing the "runt" out and putting it under a cool 150w CFL. I'm loving the structure of that C99, I've grown the original from Bros Grimm back in the day and more recently the PeakseedsBC version, and neither one is as stocky and branchy as yours, those traits are very desirable and they may translate to denser flowering structure. If I were you I'd be ready with a suitable male for a pollen chuck.

Thanks for the input, and I only wish I had some pollen!

I bet if you put it back under the HPS it would really take off. I got a whole cabinet of some really weird looking testers right now. Just cause they ugly doesn't mean they cant grow great smoke!

I am considering flowering with HP's actually. I don't really have the money to buy the 300 watt cfl I wanted.

This 150 watt cool white CFL really kills it for vegging though

Day 20..

Quick update. Put her under the hps 2 days ago and initiated flowering... Also got a fan for air circulation . She seemed a bit stressed by the new hotter windier conditions and I lost a leaf to wind burn or heat I'm not sure.but she seems to have adjusted now.

It's incredible how c99 transforms from indica to sativa traits. Even the smells change. Up until a few days ago the stems had the very typical lemony dank smell you get with a lot of indicas... amazingly today the stems have taken on a sweet bubblegum smell. Which I have had before on my c99 plants and the smoke of these phenos has always been really strong.

Also as expected, and one of the reasons I grow this. There is no odour coming from this bush at all. None, zero. 100% stealth

That's classic C99, indica-looking in the beginning, sativa stretch once induced. Looks like a good pheno though, hoping for thick flower clusters. Good job
