looking for options that are efficient and able to flower in a 2x4 tent. Tech is moving so fast lately it’s hard to keep up. I am open to diy as well I would like to stay under $600. Thanks in advance! So far I’ve checked out growmau5 pucks and they seem good as well as green genes photo strips both seem sweet but as more competitors come around it’s nice to know what else is out there

For under $300 USD you could build a 240+ watt Bridgelux EB series rack.
12 x 560mm BXEB 3500K, run in series, on 1x Meanwell HLG-240H-C1050 driver.
Aluminum angle, and or U channel for framework, thermal tape, 18ga solid core wiring. Wago connectors.
Hardest working no frills build you can find, imo....

If you're alright with buying from China, I suggest looking at R2T's 560 boards. I recently bought a couple with 240 drivers for a 4.5 x 1.7 space.

I was thinking of running 2 fluence Ray 44 what do you guys think. It seems super clean and will do the job and “refined” or maybe a VYPR

I can vouch for the rapid led setups. Run 3 of the pucks on a 4 ft rail at 1750mA. It's a very clean and efficient setup. I like that I can always add to it. Efficiency is pretty much as good as it gets. Great price and fast shipping.

Migro is another very refined option to look at. A little expensive but nice

i like this for that price point and "ready to hang" if thats what you mean by "refined"

otherwise diy with those pucks, qb96, or lm301 board/strips
I’m not a fan of rapids rail system it seems very little thought went into it they should have went 80/20 on the rails. I know because I have one already. I do like the pucks and pin sinks though.

At the moment I’m leaning towards a fluence vypr setup i have never seen a better looking well thought out setup so far and it seems like they are the leaders of the pack and what all the other companies try to keep up with and they have been in the game longer than most. I may have to shell out a bit but I feel the resale value would be better if I decide to sell later.

Couldn't we use high end screw in LEDs 10-14 on bathroom mirror type vanity strips? I'm not trying to be a pain in the ass about this. I'm trying to understand this tech better. Should I just grab a 600 cmh to replace my old hps mag tech? Last thing I wanna do is go into this being naive with the potential of doing harm. Not my thing. I'm currently using LEDs 8 17.5 watt bulbs that make my electric bill better than I've ever seen.........build a board can be intimidating
