I am having a hard time with the strains developed after 1993-94..
The genes that were commonly introduced after that period are not
a hundred percent favorable in my opinion. Could it be the Ruderalis
line? Are there any varieties that don't include that lineage?

I'll be making my selections based solely from a smokers perspective.
Consistency, mold resistance, yield, duration and strong smell are not
important. Apart from overall effect, favorable characteristics include
high thc, cannabinoid, terpene and resin production.

when you say your having a hard time what are you having a hard time with?

you are never going to find the "Holy Grail" a lot of growers much better than anyone here (minus Sub) have looked for that single strain and it has never been found though it is rumored to be very alive and in circulation just that noone can find it cause you cant be in two places at once.

theres 1000's of strains out there that dont contain Ruderalis

Do some reading on here, theres a shitpile of 411 , and read some of Subcools posts, he goes into details about terps/THC and all that good stuff

THseeds MK-Ultra has a 'super' pheno.. but good luck finding the tails pheno from that strain.. it occurs every 50k-100k bean pops...

Good luck on your hunt. I'm looking for some old strains from the 70' and 80'. I have only recently been looking, because after ordering seeds from Amsterdam and it not turning out how I expected. I know a couple of old growers who might have some seeds. I got some seeds already but i won't know if this what I'm looking for until the grow is done. I have all winter to go out this strain and see hoe it goes. Her is a pic the unknown strain at 2mos just trans planted. Aloha
