hey guys new to this site and thought i would start a journal

i will be growing in 2 rdwc units similar to a waterfarm. these are great but dwc is just as good
lighting will be 400w cmh run in an aircooled hood with a 150mm inline fan pulling through the hood air is pulled from outside my grow space so it doesnt interact with the air inside my grow at all.
ventilation of the grow space will be provided through a 250mm carbon filter and 250mm inline fan.
circulation will be provided by a 30cm box fan with rotating louvres.

i will be growing 2 strains

cali con's buddha tahoe og
and barneys vanilla kush

so both seeds were cracked using the paper towel method and once they had a taproot around half an inch long i dropped them straight into the hydroton within 2 days they are up and looking very happy.

to be honest im not sure which is which but im sure i will be able to identify them once they get a little bigger because i have grown the vanilla kush before

i think this one is the tahoe but like i said im not sure

and this is the one i suspect is the vanilla kush

i am currently running r/o water with just a touch of roots excelurator and some bennies too. my total ppm is still only at 20ppm.

they are 2 weeks old now and moving a little slowly due to it being the middle of winter here and the cold is taking its toll on the growth rate. they are happy and healthy though thats the main thing.

also they have roots down into the res now so thats right on schedule.

the suspected buddha tahoe. im fairly convinced now that im right about which one is which

not a real good shot but here is the vanilla kush

alrighty things are moving a lot slower than im used to due to the cold weather but heres an update anyway

im really liking the look of this buddha tahoe

currently running around 80ppm in both and they seem happy so i will leave it at that im also foliar feeding every 3 days with half strength foliar feed by house and garden

Heiss.Tea Is The Bomb.I Wouldnt Grow Without It.Are You Adding Any Cal-Meg?In My Grows with FNB And R/O Water Ive Had To Add Cal-Meg 5 ml Per Gallon.Also Botnicare Seems To Work The Best

i have cal mag on hand (i use a product called go green its good shit) but i usually wait and see if the plant is going to need it. i have found some plant s never have a problem while some seem to be calcium whores and others seem to like more mg. i just play it by ear.

i also use floralicious plus. i highly recomend that stuff its like every additive from other companies all rolled into one. and you use such a small amount like .25ml per litre

looking good how long till you flower? what country you from only two I know of is spain and the nethrlands that are legal to grow a few plants. The east coast US sucks for laws my state you can do up to one year for possesion of any amount of weed. you get caught growing you go to prison.
