I think its stupid to be honest.

If I was gonna get something weed related tatted on me Id just get the leaf.Atleast people will know what it is and they wont think your a fucking meth cook or something lol.

i have to agree, the thc molecule is pretty lame.. first off, you say people respect your privacy, but when they see some big ass tatt that they don't understand what on earth its supposed to mean, they are going to ask questions about it.. i don't think its easily recognizeable as standing for thc, if you know what i mean.. i don't like tatts were you have to explain wtf it is, kinda silly imo..
and although leaves may be a dime a dozen, you can always find an imaginitive way to do a bud or a plant or something sick like that that people would know what it was when they saw it.. i think subcool had a thread on here before about a tat that he had been working on, and it was pretty sweet..it was a nice sized bud if memory serves me right.. that is the direction i would go in if i were looking for a marijuana tat...

thanks m8.. i wasn't trying to be a dick, yet i was trying to get my point of view across without being arrongant about it.. mission accomplished..

I think it's a bit like those people who put a foreign language tat on themselves because they think it's cool. It's putting something on your body that is in a way outside of your realm and I always thought that tattoos should speak from the heart.

Yeah there are plenty of leaf tats, but you can still think of an original design and find a talented artist to do it.

By the way, half the people walking around with Japanese tats have nonsense writting but I guess the people doing the tats didn't know, see really stupid shit written. lol, met a guy once on a plan and I asked him about his tat. He gave me his whole spiel about his life's philosophy and that was the reason he decided to get the Chinese kanji for "East" on his arm, because he was an eastern spirit. Took a sip of my beer (international flight) and told him, "That's West"

ive seen it before,my friend has the same thing but its LSD in glow in the dark ink on the side of his head.....but he is a body piercer so it fits him
 
I think you should get it but add some personal flavor to it.
For instance: get a bong tatted and have the smoke coming out of the top be the chemistry part and the smoke coming out of the bowl say THC. That would be sweet and no one else has that!!!
