THC and CBD testing

I came across these guys in Canada for testing buds, only needs a 2-3 gram sample and will give you all the cannabinoids for $60. Seems way better than the last place that quoted me, was $180 for 30 grams, I’m sure they just smoked the rest lol

They test concentrates and edibles too. Best price I've found and I looked all over.

Old Med, found this post of yours that is pretty informative, thought I’d revive it

You want to revive it you need to comment in that thread to get it back up the list. ;)

That test just indicates the presence of CBD but doesn't tell you how much. If you have different plants you can test all at once then compare the colour to see which is the strongest in relation to the others tho. You must use equal amounts of pot and reagents for all to get comparative results too.

I have what's supposed to be an all CBD girl that I want to send for testing to see if it's worth keeping as a mother and just grow this one to mix with THC pot to get the blends I want rather than dick around trying to cross strains for particular blends. I may just extract it all into oil then send that in for testing. If I do the same with a THC one then I'll have solid numbers to go by when mixing my medicines.

That’s good to know. May I ask what strain is it for your cbd mother? Sounds like a much better way than breeding, that’s a long game for a place with space. I’d like to cut it the same, especially with my Bruce Banner, it blows my socks off.

Mine is called Earth Lover, breeder unknown. Was supposed to be a fem auto but grew as a photo plant outdoors summer of '20. Got huge and I pulled near a pound off it. Had to build a greenhouse around it with a heater and I think it still could have used a couple weeks to finish up but it was middle of Oct in northern Alberta and had already snowed twice and night temps were hitting -15C. Wife plugged a water heater for her chickens into the same plug and blew the breaker so it damn near froze to death so I cropped it.

Top middle of the pic. Have others not in this pic.

You took that plant deep into the fall! So it would be 10/11 weeks to finish? I tried a few 1:1 strains, wish I had harvested one of them on the earlier side as it’s effects were more sleepy. I’m still not sure when to harvest cbd strains. I looked at getting Ringos gift but seeds too expensive.

Labs in Oklahoma are making all the bread. 10g sample required per strain, but you get all the contents, THC, CBD, CBN,CBG, all the terpene levels, water activity, heavy metals, pesticides, mold, yeast, etc. Price range is all over the map from $225 specials, to $385. A "test batch" has just been changed from 10 lbs to 15 lbs for a Certificate of Analysis.

This is the info I got on that one. It didn't start flowering outside until Aug 15 so would not have done anything without the protection as we had frost the first week of Sept.

Earth Lover - (High CBD Fem Autos) 8 seeds

This healing strain is in honor of Jennifer Reed, PhD., who inspired me with her fun way of showing the earth it is loved. Treat the earth with the same love and compassion that you would show your lover and it will reward you in kind.

[Lab testing has shown some CBD ratio stability issues, so we’re working on inbreeding more consistency into it.]

CBD to THC: 20:1, 21% CBD, 1% or less THC
Profile: sweet, fruity flavor, followed by hints of ginger and undertones of pine
Maturity: 80 days
Yield: Moderate to High
Quantity: 1/8 teaspoon (about 15-20 seeds)

Treat the earth with the same love and compassion that you would show your lover and it will reward you in kind. Earth Lover is an F4 of Dinamed CBD auto. It offers moderately high CBD ideal for therapeutic users, with hints of sweet fruit and orange.

Oct. 11. 5ft tall.

To bad you ran out of time on it, have you run it indoors yet?
Yeah I did. Was just at the end of flowering a day before I was leaving for BC in early Oct so just trimmed the useless stuff off and chopped the branches long enough to stuff into large freezer bags and toss in the deep freeze. Did the same with the Monkey Banana Kush that was flowering along beside her. Have a plant from her vegging now and just about to take some clones so I can do the STS thing and make some S1 fem seeds. Pretty sure she's my keeper for an all CBD plant but still need to send a sample in for testing. Would like the cannabinoid and terpene testing done but don't have the $120 to spare right now. Just got my first speeding ticket in 20 years last Thursday and there's $146 I could have used for the tests. :(

My plan is to use naphtha to soak the buds in right out of the freezer and make it all into oil for use in edible form. Either just take a blob with food or cook some up in MCT/Olive/coconut oil. Can use some with the DMSO for a topical med too. Want to have a sample of the oil tested as well but then again it's more money. Just used my new still to cook up a 3rd can of Coleman's camp fuel for more naphtha. The new gaskets I made seem to work fine. Now to redistill it thru my lab still to purify it further and use the lower boiling point fraction for my extractions.
