I don't know about the rest of you, but it seems to me that for a site populated by a bunch of stoners, people sure are at each others throats a lot around here.

I've never seen so many "oh yeah, well fuck you's" just for simple differences in opinion, or a misunderstood post in my entire life.

The world is an increasingly hostile and angst ridden place, I know I feel it too. That's why I smoke weed!

this forum seems pretty peaceful to me. I've been here almost a year and it's been pretty fun so far ;).

but yeah, smoke herb embrace peace.
 
I've seen a good deal of hostility in the forums, but for the most part I see a lot of peace and friendliness. It's all good if people argue here and there; we all need to gas out sometimes. plus, in terms of opinions being defended or bashed we all have to stand up for something and be fierce every once and a while.

and as far as the 'smoke some herb, calm down, embrace peace' thing... well, I hope that everyone here has an outlet for peace that isn't smoking but if it works for you, by all means enjoy yourself and your peace. hope all of you enjoy your day

nothing wrong with a habit of smoking weed ;).

my life is pretty hectic, it's either weed or hardcore meditation.
 
FDD and the other mods have been doing a great job at stopping the rude flaming that used to go on and its becoming a much better place to visit...

As to the answer I think the people who throw around attitude are the ones who are posting sober...

Today I yelled at over 20 drivers in traffic, flipped off a soccer mom who wouldn't get the fk out of my lane, and almost tore a customer a new a$$hole for being a complete and total moron. The catch I was 100% sober, been dry for almost a week now and really not liking who I am.

When I'm stoned I'm chill and not a soul can do harm. Sober I'm pretty damned pissy. I try and stay chill here even though I'm sober because there's enough stupidity and hatred on the internet to go around, it doesn't need to infect a stoner forum ... although TECHNICALLY this isn't a stoner forum this is a grower forum and one does not always equal the other.

straight up man when I'm sober for a while it seems like I'm more of an asshole. just like I can't even really control it or I don't care to control it. just pissed at the world and no bud to show me the light.

luckilly I'm stocked now so I'm a pretty stable individual :)
 
NEVER ever expect political forums to be civil.

I pretty much ran the Guns n Weed thread for almost 2 months and it was not civil most of the time.

People are FERVENT about political beliefs. Being an anarchist I don't understand this, but they are. My wife and I almost lost some VERY close friends because we didn't vote for Obama. It wasn't until I finally got them to understand that I felt that McCain would bring an end to a corrupt system of government through mismanagement, which we found preferable to a band-aid on a gushing wound, that things got worked out. It was several months of hell in our relationship with them leading up to the elections.

I've purposely stayed out of the political forums here because so few people actually understand that the point behind a true anarchy is independence from any form any kind of 'rule' and that ultimately it would force people to be self-sufficient and charitable all at once. It's a difficult concept to grasp but it's true.

Stoned or Sober I'm a fervent anarchist and fervent atheist. I never mix politics and religion in 'differing' company. That's just asking for a fight.

LOl, thanks...but I know I can be an asshole if someone gets me going.Especially about certain forms of religion.

that game is fuckin crazy.

there's a mod for it that allows you to take drugs, they have sativex on there and it makes everything look ridiculously colorful, pretty fuckin awesome if I may say so :)
 
well i didnt explore the whole map when i played it through the first time,i rushed through, so i wanted to max different shiat out and take my time. and nuke bitches with the fatboy:fire:
