I guess you guys weren’t real clear what *Americans* wanted or what needs to be done to move this nation forward. That's what's so surprising, you would assume your "head up you ass prospective" would have worked out far better.

If the pubs can get their little tea party twits in line some legislation might be able to occur. I hope the pubs do better this round, they have a chance to do good. They will however just continue on with the status quo of legal bribes, favors to friends and lots of politicians doing nothing and getting paid.

Now that harry reid is not there blocking legislation for Obama, we should see some progress.
I don't think the Pubs will be short on bills being passed, it's the matter of if obama signs of vetoes them.
keystone will probably be the first major piece of legislation and a big test for barry.

I have seen several of these posts from you jahbrudda. Sorry to let you know, because you seem so excited, but Democrats will still have well more than the 40 votes they'll need to block just about any legislation they want.

That's am opinionated question, but I bet I can guess what they won't do. Form a highly controversial bill that no one asked for, make it so complex that most can't even understand or have time to understand it and shove it though without a single vote of bipartisan support to drop like a bomb on the American public and businesses.

Close our borders to illegal immigration, pass legislation for an easier way for immigrants to legally become US citizens.

Balance the budget so we quit spending money we don't have.

Bring bills to an up and down vote, let the people see where our congressmen stand and make them accountable for their votes.

Cut back unneeded regulations and and high corporate taxes so businesses can flourish and put more people back to work.

Supply and demand have little to do with the price of oil currently. OPEC is probably going to keep prices low for a couple of years. We have been in oversupply for 6 years.

I'm still waiting for the party at the pumps. The price of oil has declined 40%, but the price of gas has only declined 15%. When gas is $2 a gallon, then we might have a party.

I've been chasing natural gas for about a week too, just keeps going up and up, I've adjusted my stop-loss like 6 times.
