Cheers from the Land of smiles.
Looking for some advise on water and soil PH levels.
My first grow. Have 5 Pineapple Kush autos. All 5 seeds germinated in 24 hours using paper towel method. Planted in 1 litre pots indoors with 2 48 Watt 2800 Lumin flourescent bulbs on 24/7 All plants sprouted and look healthy so far. Tiny bit of bright lime green coloring on new growth. Water comes from osmosis filtered tap and the PH is about (6.4) I tested the soil today using runoff method and the PH is about (7.5) I used bagged soil that I bought at a garden center. Problem is everything is in Thai so I really have no idea of exact contents so had to rely on how the soil looked and smelled Etc. Soil has a bit of coconut fiber I think, and duck droppings from what a Thai friend said when he looked at the label on the bags. One common thread I learned in all that I have read so far is not to overthink things and start adding a bunch of stuff to try and make everything perfect. As I said the plants look good but am curious about the high PH I get from soil runoff test. Here is a pic of the plants. Have a 400W HID cool light with MH and HPS bulbs that I will introduce when the plants get a bit more leaves. Thanks for any advice. My first go at this was to get some decent medicine for a nagging case of arthritis in my hips and lower back but have discovered a really fun hobby and am very enthused about this and also about starting to grow fruis and veggies.
Thanks
