maybe i shouldve posted this in the seed/strain specific section but...
I have a freebie MK ultra going in one of my tents, its about 40 days into 12/12, almost 6 weeks and from the looks of the buds i could probably start flushing it now but they are small... almost all the pistils have browned up and the nuggets are VERY dense and frosty but small. trichs are still mostly clear maybe 10-20% cloudy under a 30x loupe.
has anyone else grown this strain out there? i wanted give the whole tent 65-70 days and im wondering if these berries with swell up anymore even tho the pistils have all browned, the calaxys look swollen but i need the buds to get bigger. I had a slight issue with nute burn few weeks back but otherwise shes been stress free, all her foliage is still a nice deep green.
ive only grown maybe 10 different strains over the past few years and from my experience, once the pistils have browned and the calayxs get a little fat they typically dont gain any physical size, just weight.
Im at work right now but ill throw up a picture when i get home, just hoping someone else whos grown this strain can chime in.
i grow in coco, 1 gallon smart pots, full H&G line up (minus shooting powder) with AN big bud, Gravity and a healthy serving of hygrozyme on top. this tent is a 4x4 with a 600hps, vertical scrog with 8 plants
im thinking about throwing the HG shooting powder back into the mix, i had stopped using it due to it being too harsh on some of my cuts but it would usually make the buds throw out a few new pistils during the last weeks (sometimes undesirably so)
so just to summarize, has anyone else grown Mk ultra? and if so what kind of flowering time did you experience?
im trying to save up some funds to hit the cannabis cup this fall and a hefty harvest from this little 4x4 would certainly help
EDIT: forgot to mention temp/humidity info, someone will probably ask so for reference, my temps range stay between 79-82 during the day, dip down to 72-75 at night, humidity has been high this summer season, stays around 55-60%, 65% right after feedings.
