WEST, Texas—A massive explosion at a fertilizer plant here has left up to 15 people missing or dead, a figure that may rise, said local police officials. More than 150 people have been treated for injuries, according to local hospitals.





thoughts and prayers for those who were hurt or killed...


but I have a ? here locally we have laws about not being allowed to grow within 1000 feet of a school..

yet Texas has a fert plant that close to schools and nursing homes?

Nassau County Police say the 16-year-old student at the Mesivta Ateres Yaakov [COLOR=#0000CC !important]School in Lawrence, Long Island, was arrested after he posted threats on his [COLOR=#0000CC !important]Facebook page[/COLOR], which were later brought to the attention of the school principal.[/COLOR]
The yeshiva was evacuated for about two hours Tuesday morning and the student, whose identify remains undisclosed, was arrested and charged with making a terrorist threat, a felony, and aggravated harassment, The New York Post reported.
He is to be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
Mesivta Ateres Yaakov does not plan to press charges, assistant principal Rabbi Yossi Bennett told the Post.
The threats, which have not been delineated in reports, came a day after two bombs exploded at the Boston Marathon, killing three and injuring over 170 others.

bomb exploded Thursday night in a popular coffee shop in western Baghdad, killing at least 27 people and wounding 51 others, city police officials said.
The bomb was hidden in a plastic bag and then put in a cafe in the Iraqi capital's al-Amriya neighborhood, according to police. Most of those killed and hurt are young men.
Mostly Sunni Muslims live in the neighborhood, which is surrounded by walls except for one checkpoint staffed by Iraqi soldiers.
The violence follows a spate of attacks preceding the country's provincial elections, set for Saturday.

one bosten bomber shot,and killed, they are from russia, been here legal for a year,they are brothers. they can be linked or not but since muslim bro hood says its anti muslim its got nothing to do with al kada. but its russian brothers.

-there has just been an explosion ,
the town is shut down completely, no one is allowed outside. this is just kinda interesting

Damn dude you are crazy. But holy crap this story just got crazier, that's for sure. Fucking hurling explosives from the car during a shoot out with cops? Wtf? I hope they take the second guy alive we we can get some answers. Something's telling me he won't go alive though. Well I'll have to toto sleep and wait till I wake up for the conclusion.
