Tetra fish pH/KH Minus as pH down substitute?

Wondering if this would be a suitable substitute for ph down

My tap water is almost 7 and I can't get my hands on pH down at the minute without paying £15 for 250ml off Amazon

Chemistry is not my strong point and I have no idea if a low KH which is apparently carbonate hardness will effect young plants or if there's any other nasties in this.

Just let water sit for 24 hours

You can also use citric acid to lower pH. It's cheap and you only need a minuscule amount.

8m currently doing that but figured once I start adding canna a and b I'll need to be able to adjust accordingly.

I'm only just seeing this, would have picked some up earlier if I'd known.

For now I'll let the water sit and see what the pH comes down to, won't be adding anything for a while just picked this stuff up today and wanted to run it by some people that know stuff.

I'm only just seeing this, would have picked some up earlier if I'd known.

For now I'll let the water sit and see what the pH comes down to, won't be adding anything for a while just picked this stuff up today and wanted to run it by some people that know stuff.

What medium are you using? Soil? Soiless eg coco? Hydro?

Soil should buffer itself.

Coco - you should be able to add equal A and B and your rhizotonic and ZYM etc and should be somewhere near the correct ph until your adjusters come.

Hydro - bit more of an issue if you can’t adjust ph. But not detrimental if you’re only waiting a few days.

Still sitting at 6.8 but all good I can wait.

Looking into this Terra stuff tho just as I'm a curious person and still would like to hear from anyone who knows the chemistry behind it and how a cannabis plant would react.
Anyone know if lowering the Kh levels would be beneficial to plants?
