Test grow suggestions

I want to try to grow something besides weed for my first grow from seed in DWC.
Can you suggest a vegetable that I can grow in DWC from seed that would use the same nutes as weed?
 
But.........WHY? Why waste time, nutes, electricity and everything else? If you have problems you have problems. That an like trying to screw sheep to learn how to please a woman.

superstoner1 seeds are expensive.
I have never done DWC and I plan to grow tomatoes from seed and see if I grow it a couple of inches, then pull it up. I would rather screw up tomato seeds that cost pennies. I have a LED and cheap nutes from eBay, it's all good. :)
 
Like anything available some are more costly than others but some great strains can be had for very little. Is a seed that cost $1-3 really that expensive? If so, I would say you should keep buying your weed instead of growing it.

All the seeds I look at and I have only found $7-8 dollar seeds as the lowest bargains where do you shop at?
 
this thread is good entertainment. WTF is a test grow?Well wait a min. Every one of my grows is a test grow. I'm always testing something usually I'm testing the taste of my buds not my tomatoes. LOL
 
I have only ordered seeds one time many years ago. They were White Widow. I got 10 reg seeds for about $100. Had a good run with them for a few years with clones. Since then I have only used BSS (Bag Seed Surprise) and other clones I have been given. Now with all the hermis and cross breading I have some real good stuff. The only thing it's missing is some fancy name. I just call it good weed.
 
Look for a closeout section. I just got 20+ strains(about 110 seeds) and it was $150 from worldwide-marijuana-seeds.com

Yeah, perhaps I was being too conservative. I said screw it and used a real seed. Just looked today and I think it popped! :D
 
Bagseeds are perfect to practice with and get to know the trees in a better light when you obtain Med seeds.
