tent temp

why cant I get my temp down below 85??? im running a 400 watt mh air cooled hood with a 400 cfm inline fan in a 3x3x6 tent...ambient room temp is 70 72 max I vent to the outside so what could the problem be?

sounds like u need more intake
 
ide buy a big fan heavy duty place it on the out side of the wall blow it into the room and on the outher side cut a vent so you have a cross breeze, this will work great for small lights like yours , people with a lot more have a dedicated ac machine in the grow room, but not for your small set up

maybe some pics..............8 in fan w a 400 your tent should be like one degree higher than the room its in.......

no its actually looks like a cool tube with a big hood not this one but just like it

Check your incoming air temps, a 600W lamp vented out of the room should raise your temps about 6 degrees.

Shitt... I'm happy to get 80deg! I've been fighting temps sence spring started! I'm buy a ac next week. Expensive but the lazy/smart way =)
