Tent Setup

Hey guys new here but already done a few grows but would like some advice on the new setup

The space:
The space is a 1m x 1m x 1.8 budbox

The method:
ScRog

Lighting:
600w
mh for veg
hps for flower

i have a choice of 3 reflectors so heres my first question... which one would you reccomend im planning to sell the other 2 as there not needed now so:

Magnum xxxl 150mm - i suspect this will be a little large for my space
Power Plant cool hood 150mm
Batwing reflector

Extraction:
8" rvk fan and 8" phat filter

here the next question i dont want the fan and filter in the tent due to space so i was planning hood > duct into loft around a 2 meter > fan > filter running in reverse

i do have a separate fan avalible ( 5" rvk) so i could run the hood stand alone duct > hood > duct around 2m > fan in loft but would rather have the first option if viable

intake:

8" rvk again running from chimeny in loft so from tent duct for 4 meters > fan in loft

all running on a prim air controller

Growing system:

Either

hand waters pots with coco

or

Autopots have upto 10 avalible with 2 x 100 litre res's but will only be doing 2 - 4 plants and selling the rest

which method?

Plant numbers:

based on the grow space lighting etc

2

3

0r 4 plants?

also i have

standards 1000w conact relay
or
exolux super 6 contact relay upto 6000w - probably overkill ha

How would you setup?

Cheers BigG

I run a similar step to what your planning, DWC Scrogg with 2 buckets, would also work with soil or any other medium.. watering can be a bitch to manage tho.

That was my thinking with the autopots just set the res up in the loft space due to space again and they will self water i just have to keep the res topped up at 5.8 ph and 1.5 ec and im pretty good?

Yup, do some reading into RDWC which is what it sounds like your talking about, very basic hydroponic information and your golden. With some nutrient lines and formulas like the lucas formula, ph isnt even necissary if using RO water. All you watch for is root problems, basic plant deficiencies and your PPM... cool res temps are also nice.

I have done a 6 pot rdwc before this system is different theres not pumps involved just gravity and an optional pump to oxygenate the water. they use a special auto valve that only allows the system to feed when the pot is near empty im not sure if im allowed to post a link here so i wont if interested google autopot smart valve.

i loved the growth of the rdwc but it does tend to be a little noisy for my needs...

I think the first filtering idea will work, although not ideal. The idea obviously is to filter the air before its running through your hood and fans, for cleanliness and longevity. But if you dont have a choice, do what you gotta do!
