Hi all! I'm well into flowering my first grow in several years, have a few Sour Diesels going and they look mighty tasty already.
A friend went to the Denver CC and brought back a pack of Temple Kush seeds. The breeder is The Ethos Collective and apparently the only way to get them is to go to Denver in person... I can not find anything other than a facebook page for Ethos. They introduced this strain at the cannabis cup. It is an Heirloom OG x Sour Flo cross. They claim mid/high yields. Its a purple pheno.
I think grow journals in veg stage are boring but... as this is a new strain for me and probably a new cross for everyone, I thought I'd go ahead and do a start to finish report.
Here is my setup:
Veg Closet:
250Watt MV (YES, I am replacing this ASAP, but it was free and something is better than nothing)
2 - 14watt 18" T5s
1 - 55watt CFL
fan... mylar... thats about it.
Flower Closet:
Spectra Max 516 - (2-150watt HPS and 4-54watt t5s)
Fan, mylar, dehumidifier (not in use)
Medium:
50/50 Perlite/cheap potting soil. (I go high on the Perlite since I over water)
8 inch (2gal) pots (smaller is better if you tend to over water like I do, I can't seem to help myself)
Not even going to bother telling you that I use Miracle Grow all purpose most of the time. Save your comments, LOL, I know there's better out there.
Ok....I was given just 3 seeds.....
Put the seeds in the ground on Monday night and today, Thursday morning, all three have popped up. I have never grown a purple pheno so I wasn't expecting this color!
I'll update weekly. We'll call this Day 1. Comments and pics are welcome!!
