Temperature when making cannabutter?

No need to decarb if simmering for a long period of time. If I do decarb, I prefer lower temps for longer times vs high temp and shorter times. Like 180 for 50-60mins in a sealed foil pouch.

My favorite method. Put a quarter of ganja and a stick of butter or coconut oil in a mason jar and sous vide for 6-8hrs at 180-185. Sometimes I use grape seed oil, then add it to a tincture bottle for some fun on the go.



It's just another gimmicky product that takes up counter space. Save your money and use what you already have in the kitchen.
But the flashing lights !. Acutally i like the way it grinds as it cooks and has a timer and you can specifically set the temp. I understand that people can do it in a slow cooker. I have done it that way as well but the butter machine does it easier. Coconut oil and cannabis and set the heat and the time and it just does its business.

I might get one of those fancy debarborlizers too. Or I will just get an infared thermometer and use the oven :D

i tried the laser thermometer in the oven, all you get is the temp of the pan, not the kief or w/e
