Temperature problem for seedlings, help!

I'm using a 250w cfl which is hanging just under a foot above my plants. The temperature is about 87-88F when measured just under the seedlings. I know if I raise the light I'm going to get to much stretch but if I put it to close they're going to burn. I'm still waiting to get a fan which should resolve everything but is there anything I can do in the meantime??

I've just opened the door slightly and opened all the windows, can anyone think of anything else?

Spraying with water lowers temps a bit until you get a fan

I agree with growthat about maybe opening the door some while lights are on until you get the fan.
