Temp problem. need help

I have a HTG 400watt light and ballast. I grow 4 plants in my closet. 2 of them are 7 weeks into veg and the other 2 are 1.5 weeks old. Anyway, My light is 22 inches above my plants. I have an exhaust fan in the closet that blows underneath the house. I have another fan in the corner pointing between the plants and light.

Temp on a normal day is 80-90. Cant seem to get it below. Plants seems to love it. Any help?
 
yes but it has multiple benifits.
you can control temps better.
and get your lights closer to the plants.
i have my 1000 watt less than 6 inches from the top of canopy.
its vented and on a light mover.so i can get the light nice and close.
 
How big is your grow space bossman? What general location do you reside? Im on the west cost aka the high desert. Gets about 85 during the day.


I moved my light a little farther up to try and help the heat. its 7:27 pm and the temp in my room is 88.8. Im on unemployment so it might be awhile before I can get the cool tube.
