:eyesmoke:Basically Im trying to get the temp down in my grow tent. Right now it sits at 82F. The pix & Link will be more helpful. Here's the rundown. The tent is 4'x4'x6'. A 400HPS (running at 100%) is in the tent, hooked to a duct, which runs outside of the tent to a 400 CFM exhaust fans which vents outside. (4) 9"
stationary fans providing wind movement. directly under the light gets too hot, anyone know of a way to get the tent temp down to 76 or in that range?

My opnion 82F is fine. I've been growing mine in 79-85F during the day with no issues. I see you only have an exhaust out of your cool tube. With the fans you have in their and the exhaust already in place the only things I can think of is putting an intake to bring cool air from outside the tent through the cool tube; pretty much cool air in through the cool tube and exhaust out the hot air. Besides that all I can think of is A/C and your tent seems quite filled to fit an A/C unit. I suggest getting some air from outside coming in through the cool tube. With the exhaust and intake running through the tube you should see a good drop in temp.

Also I don't know how far your light is away from the temp gage, but it can be raised higher during veg compared to flowering. So you can get away with waiting a month or so while they veg to get your temps figured out. This is all if your lights are close as of now. When I was vegging with my 600 I was keeping it 30in away from the plants, during flower 15-20inch. This is all from experience though. Every situation is different.

My grow room gets to be up to 93 some days in the summer and i'm getting almost 4 ounces a plant. 82 is definitely not a problem, with certain strains that would actually be optimal.
