Good ventilation in the system (hydroponics), water temp is at 71 and the room is at 80... is 80 to high (generally try to keep it at 75) or can I leave the temp as is?

80 is a solid day time temp...past 85 is pushing optimal... hopefully u have it where night time temp is slightly cooler than ur 80 lights on temp

yes if you can get your lights on temp arounf 72 degress to 75 that will be an iseal temp. the lower your tem the less youwill have to deal with spider mites also. the hotter your room the more and faster they multiply.:weed: so keep it cool.

Yea the last thing you want is spider mites. I seen a pic on here with some dude who had them. Fuckin webs all over his plants and it looked straight up nasty.

ur fine bro, 85 is where i start to worry but its also 90 degress outside during summer so i dunno if its as bad as people think as long as your medium temp doesnt cook the roots

its not the temp that it bad it the lack of FREASH AIR that most can't bring into there grow room. if not you in trouble. i have been as high as 104 degrees in my room but i also had a 20" box fan in the window bringing in shit loads of fresh air. even outdoors if the temps are extremely hot in the 100s the your chances of bugs are great also.

if you can keep a even temp the whole time then thats a really good thing.:weed:

yea, its been pretty consistent the whole time. I have been using superthrive and protekt additives to my floragrow nutrient solution, but I keep hearing about mites and bugs. I am growing indoors in a pretty clean place, and have constant fresh air. Is this something I should worry about (bugs coming in) even if there is nothing that would attract them and its a hydroponic system... also... how can i tell for root rot if i have a slight brown tint on my roots (not a pure pure white) but theplants look extremely healthy and the roots are growing at a rapid rate? I think its fine, just a natural tint, but i've never seen it before so Im not sure as to what im looking for?

bugs still seem to always find away in2 a clean environment:wall:
always. i can'tremember the amount that the can double as the heat increases. it was an amazing amount. alls ittakes is on and from there heat is a big factorin controling your infestation along with spraying..

yea, i have been keeeping the temp down with my new 600 w metal halide and hp system. its running 80 degrees at 40% rel, humidity. finally back on track, but working to get the humidity up even higher (hard to get it high with so much airflow in room). had some really high temps the first day of running lights, but raised them up so about 3-4 feet from all of them. any idea how the humidity affects plant rate of nutrient absorbtion vs. water intake would be helpful
